Bruce Burton, M.D.
I was born in Woodville, a small town in Southeast Texas. My father was a doctor and my mother was a homemaker.
I attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas and majored in Chemistry. After college I went on to medical school at the University of Texas, Southwestern, in Dallas.
After medical school I completed the Family Practice residency training program in Louisville, Kentucky. While there I met Joan, my wife, who was from Louisville.
Joan and I live very near my office, and my office is located next door to the hospital. I enjoy walking to work.
Joan and I like to garden, and we also do ethnic dancing on the side. I like to read poetry, and travel whenever I can get away. Joan is an RN. Call her if you have any questions about herbs or gardening.
We have lived in Corydon for 22 years. It is truly our home. We have raised several cat families over the years. We have made many special friends.
